The Romana oak TV cabinet features a cupboard section for storing your digiboxes and two drawers, ideal for storing DVDs. But the really clever bit is in the IR eye which enables you to use your remote control with your digiboxes and satellite boxes stored out of sight and away from dust, behind the closed wooden doors.The front edge of the TV cabinet frame bear the signature soft curve, and the legs have the fluid organic curves and chamfers that, characterise Romana. Fluid wave-shaped cut-out recesses provide the door and drawer handles, another design signature of the range.The cupboard section has a glass shelf mounted on pins and can be adjusted in height. The two drawers and the door hinges have soft-close mechanisms to give a gentle shut.This oak furniture is finished in a clear matt lacquer to show the beauty of the natural timber.A cut-out in the back panel provides easy access for your cables. The receiver in the cabinet works with remote controls operating in the 20-70 kHz range.Romana is a modern dining and living-room furniture collection with soft curves and sophisticated craftsmanship that emphasises ercol’s skill in working with solid timber.
